Men's Ministries Mission Statement
The Men's Ministry is dedicated to helping men become the spiritual leaders that the Lord calls them to be. Accountability, bible study, fellowship, and prayer all contribute to the goal of this ministry, with a little help from the Holy Spirit. Meet with a small group of men to encourage and challenge each other to live a life passionate for Christ.
The Men's Ministry is composed of sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, and grandfathers who love Christ and have a passion to become the man He wants us to be.We want to grow relationships with other men so we can help each other in our walk with Christ. It is about being REAL with each other.Our men's ministry is dedicated to helping men to become Christ-like men. A Christ-like man is a servant, a servant of God's church, a servant of his family, a servant of his community. If it has come to your mind that our men's ministry is for passive, perfect little Christian men. I can tell you now that it is not. A lot of us did not grow up in the church; we are men reborn in Jesus Christ and we know that He is our only hope in this dark and declining world.
THE PRIMARY GOAL: " Make Disciples"
The primary goal of Men's Ministry is to make men into disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
THE MEANS: "Proclaim, Teach, Heal, Send"
1. "Proclaim" - Share the Good News of Jesus Christ, calling men to make a personal commitment to follow Jesus as Lord.
2. "Teach" - Encourage and help men to grow to full maturity in Christ.
3. "Heal" - Be agents of healing in the lives of men.
4. "Send" - Empower, equip and send men to do the work of ministry
We offer a wide variety of programs that attempt to address the many needs of the men of this congregation. We are also, of course, particularly interested in the spiritual needs of men. All we do is centered on faith in the person of Jesus Christ.
